A dark grey couch, with cushions that match the yellow and red tones in the carpet and a feature chair or two that matches one of the red shades.

I don’t think painting the vanity will improve the room. I think replacing the vanity top would make a bigger difference, but it costs more.

Looking to break the tie… we are getting ready to sell our house in the next couple years but our hardwood floors have taken a beating. The stone tile, wall colour and cabinet door will be staying, carpet is coming out. Would you recommend the dark or light?

You almost never need to replace hardwood floors. They can usually be refinished. The greyish tone of the wood is very trendy and for resale you should try for classic choices.

Tapestries for wall art?

My goal is to take up a lot of space when something that looks nice but is inexpensive and not too trendy. I found marble pattern tapestry on Amazon i think might work. I think i might do two to three large size tapestries that look like marble but have different vein and coloration.
